Paget is returning to CM for a couple if episodes this season. Goddamn I may have ti watch that shitfest.
Youths are just annoying. Especially teenagers and people in their early 20s. They shouldn't ve allowed to speak or make decisions.
Eh, I'm all right, just trying to get out of grad school--no one told me getting out was harder than getting in. I keep getting stuck teaching those annoying youths, though the joke is, this semester I get to teach them how to give speeches. My entire job is listening to their opinions. *sigh* (Also, how did I end up teaching this? I'm like a weird moonlighting instructor--give me a class, and I will teach it, no background knowledge necessary.)
Did you hear? They hired Paget back as a regular! I really haven't watched/thought about CM for years, but if people are talking about it again, maybe I could write fic for it again. My fic writing ability has died recently. I go back and read my old stuff and think--who wrote this? this is good! I could never write that now.

Yeah, I've heard that about grad school. That's possibly the only good thing about law school; it ends, so indentured servitude can begin. I can't believe youths these days were born in the 2000s. When I was a teenager. I don't even recall being that young and I certainly don't recall being allowed to have "opinions."
I didn't know re Paget, but then I googled it and I was all, WTF THOMAS GIBSON. I won't miss him. I haven't watched since Paget left aside from the few episodes in which she guest starred. I am not sure if she is worth the effort of downloading CM weekly again and watching and actually, like, paying attention to something that is not my client's latest drama about her husband keeping their son's pencil cases when he goes to stay with Dad and she's bought about 5 pencil cases already.
Oh god, I have to take a parental coordinator training course in November, which means I learn how to politely, verbally bitchslap these people into parenting their children like decent human beings. Like, take the damn pencil case before you let the kid go to Dad's, then YOU WILL HAVE ALL THE PENCIL CASES YOU WANT IN THE WORLD, Jesus fucking christ.
I haven't written non-work related things in years. Bad arm. General exhaustion from life. I totally get your feeling about reading old fic and being surprised at having written it. I definitely cannot write remotely as well as I did in 2006/2007. It's a combination of lack of practice, lack of inspiration, and just the lack of being young and willing to indulge in the crack and not being bogged down by earning a living and sorting out people's children's pencil cases.
Things swing back and forth for me, had a little rough patch the last 2 weeks, so giving myself a break by going to Singapore for a few days. I'm not afraid of a little Zika virus. The Zika virus should be afraid of ME.
Do you have Facebook or Gchat or whatever the kids use these days to communicate electronically? Because I rarely check LJ these days, everyone has left, but tumblr is too image heavy for me.

Soo, I was hanging around on tumblr the other day and I saw a cap from the new Gilmore Girls resurgence, or whatever, with a tag underneath saying something to the effect of #but where is Claire? And I had to interrogate this person to make sure it was Alex-Claire, and it was, and then there was a little fangirling. (And then I watched 6 eps in a row and had a weird dream about contacting you via's livejournal new vocal chat feature.)
