Many thanks again for all your condolences. Milo's a lucky hamster to have had so much love from you guys. Speaking of people doing awesome, generous things, hostile_driver surprised me with a year of paid time for this journal, so I now owe her a kidney or some of my liver or all of my liver if she wants it. She's the best Black Pearl ever! (Yes, we have racially-insensitive nicknames for each other, just like me and the Jew.)

I wonder if I can bring a notebook to work and try to get some CNY ficlets done there. Yeah, it's going to be ficlets this year. Maybe drabbles. Or nothing. Nothing is pretty festive. How do people who have actual jobs ever get anything done?

This does seem doable in the mean time: Ask me about a pairing I have written (or haven't and you think I should write) and I will give you five facts about them or a ficlet or a song that is CLEARLY THEIR SONG or what they order from the Chinese place down the street, etc, etc.

I have more fandoms this year: Community, Modern Family, CWRPS (my god, someone please pick this one), Criminal Minds, etc. GO CRAZY, Y'ALL.

I brought a notebook to work today but I couldn't get any writing done because I was paranoid that people would look over my shoulder and catch me writing about Chad and his, uh, theories of courtship.

I can only come up with four, because I am exhausted as fuck from work. I suck at following meme directions, I know.

FOUR FACTS ABOUT CHAD/HIMSELF AND SOMETIMES HIS LEFT HAND

1. The first thing Chad did after he bought his apartment was order the interior decorating to turn one of the spare rooms into a masturbatorium. That's how much he respects his left hand.

2. If Chad could figure out a way to suck his own dick, he would. Because why wouldn't he? His dick is awesome. It would be an honor to suck his dick.

3. Black eyes make Chad look even hotter that he usually does. So whenever someone punches him in the face, he considers it an opportunity to sleep with barely-legal chicks in nursing school doing their practicum in the ER.

4. Chad thinks about donating to charity from time to time. Preferably to an organization that supports and funds research for cloning. He really hopes that they'll figure out how to clone humans before he dies, so that he can make a couple copies of himself, because he's not sure if the world can handle not having Chad Michael Murray in it. He doesn't want his death to be the downfall of civilization.

Yeah, this is why i cultivate sloppy handwriting, so that no one notices I'm writing porn. Of course yesterday I was in the mood to draw it, and my boss kept wandering in and I had to slam my syntax homework over the naked people. But it was dead slow, so I had the chance to finish listening to a J2 podfic on my ipod. Listening to porn at work is a new low for me.

J2 fic is totally making my life a better place right now! Especially anything read by fayjay. Sexy british accents = win. Of course, now when I'm writing i start to use her inflection, but it's awesome, so I don't care.

How could anyone not like J2 fic? It's like Bleighton, but with boys, and... Chad, who clearly improves everything. O.o

I'm going to need to do a recs post soon, which will clearly be ignored by everyone, but WTH.

I can't get into Bleighton. Probably because the girls in J2 (Sandy, Sophia, Danneel, Adrianne) are super hot and Misha and Chad are both hilariously awesome, but the guys in Gossip Girl are either all bland or skeevy looking and I JUST DON'T GIVE A FUCK.

If I worried about how people looked I would have never started reading fanfiction, due to my complete TV watching fail. But it is true, the Gossip Girl guys are incredibly strange looking, and very ugly.

I read Bleighton for the pirates, although I'm always disappointed by the lack of dismemberment by cannonball.

I was reading a J2 fic and some guy called 'Chase' showed up, and it took me about four minutes to figure out that someone was merging two very distinct sets of RPFs. It's very odd that you can crossover RPF. It gave me an uncomfortable feeling.
