Oh, Adelaide is a really pretty name! However, it makes me think of the Adelaide serial killer. Was there more than one? But still. Very pretty name.
I think the girl and I are in agreement that we won't ever have children. She's taking care of her baby niece right now, and knows first-hand that babies are demons. Demons who shit and throw up and scream and generally smell foul.
Between us, however, we have an iPod name Claire, a monster named Reginald, and a rubber duck named Melvin. We need help, I know.
The mating ritual of Tasmanian devils qualifies for an SVU episode. Seriously. I was so disturbed after that documentary. Not only are they ugly little critters, they (the males anyway) are also rapists.
I'm kind of impressed by how many cool animals Australia has. You've got the kangaroos and koalas; Africa's got the lions and the zebras ... man, all Canada has is Celine Dion. And the Canadian goose. Which we can't even HUNT and eat. I feel shafted.
