hostile_driver surprised me with a year of paid time for this journal, so I now owe her a kidney or some of my liver or all of my liver if she wants it. She's the best Black Pearl ever! (Yes, we have racially-insensitive nicknames for each other, just like me and the Jew.)
I wonder if I can bring a notebook to work and try to get some CNY ficlets done there. Yeah, it's going to be ficlets this year. Maybe drabbles. Or nothing. Nothing is pretty festive. How do people who have actual jobs ever get anything done?
This does seem doable in the mean time: Ask me about a pairing I have written (or haven't and you think I should write) and I will give you five facts about them or a ficlet or a song that is CLEARLY THEIR SONG or what they order from the Chinese place down the street, etc, etc.
I have more fandoms this year: Community, Modern Family, CWRPS (my god, someone please pick this one), Criminal Minds, etc. GO CRAZY, Y'ALL.

1. Lorelai was the first and last person Alex ever kissed.
2. The 783498563846th curse to befall a Winchester: Alex starts regressing in age and eventually Lorelai finds herself in a Borders screaming at a 7-year-old who wants to stay and read instead of having McDonald's for lunch and then kicking some demon ass.
3. "How long do we have to stay with you?" Alex asked darkly. Lorelai reached over and took her hand.
"Just until your dads are done with the Angel Maker," JJ answered with a smile that, okay, Alex might be able to trust. Her dads did say they'd known JJ since they were kids. And JJ's dad was a hunter too.
4. Lorelai sets up a Facebook account for Alex, because she needs more neighbors for her farm in Farmville.
"Should I put you under 'siblings', or are we 'in a relationship?'" Lorelai asks.
"I don't care," Alex says. She sounds as if she were going to break, which probably has something to do with the fact that Lorelai spent the whole distance between Dallas and San Pedro explaining how to play Farmville and why it is so important to Lorelai that Alex become her neighbor (so she can expand her farm, obviously).
Lorelai decides on "It's complicated," which is apt.
